Denisse was born and raised in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. She has taught children for 8 years in public and private schools.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and her Masters in Educational Development. 

Denisse moved to New York in September of 2021, and she lives in Long Island City with her husband “Paco” and their dog “Floki”.

She delights in nature and spends time around it. Also, she loves all different kinds of art, and creates on her own. 

Denisse is so excited about her first year teaching at Mi Casita. Here she found a place where she can connect with the community and diversity, being part of the children’s lives learning, exploring, and growing together. denisse@micasitabk.org
