Camila is a Chilean who has been living in New York for five years. She shares her life with her partner, her kitty Ellie, and her daughter Aurora — a toddler who fills her days with love, energy, and endless questions about childhood, parenting, and education.

Years ago, Camila studied theater, but life eventually led her into education, where she earned a master’s in educational leadership. Today, she loves blending creativity and pedagogy to make learning unique and meaningful.

During 2024-2025, Camila worked at mi Centro BK, supporting the cultural area, events, and afterschool programming. Now, in 2025-2026, she returns to the school with excitement and renewed energy, ready to keep growing and to give her best to the place she deeply values.

She is passionate about organizing activities and gatherings that bring culture to life and build community. When the sun is out, she enjoys a picnic, a beach day, or brunch with friends. When the cold sets in, you’ll find her knitting, reading, watching movies, or enjoying family life. For her, life is all about savoring each moment. Nothing without joy.
