Liliana (Lili) hails from an immigrant family of avocado farmers turned construction workers. She grew up in colorado and spent a majority of her summers in a Mexican pueblito by the name of Tinguindin. Her academic experience started off with a brief stint in art school before dropping out to pursue a career in Early Childhood. She worked in an early learning center throughout obtaining her bachelors, reinforcing everything she learned in class in a practical setting. Lili made her official move to the city in July, finally reuniting with her wife Sharaah after what felt like a never ending journey in school. Liliana loves to get silly and messy with her students. She believes in their ability to be independent and problem solvers of their own and enjoys watching each student bloom into their personalities. She feels working in childcare is one of the most rewarding feeling in her life, no matter how crazy or hectic the days may be.
Outside of work, Liliana enjoys creating art. She mainly works making biographical portraits and scenes made with watercolors and colored pencils (though she loves exploring all types of mediums). She also enjoys listening to music, playing animal crossing, cooking, watching the clouds, and spending time with her friends.
