Summer Camp Staff Info & FAQ

Maker Espacio at Mi Casita Camp is a place to imagine, build, and create with diverse materials—natural items, recyclables, textiles, and more—carefully chosen to inspire open-ended exploration. Thematic prompts spark their unbridled creativity; for example, a “mini-mundos” prompt might lead amigues to use sticks, fabric scraps, and clay to invent a tiny ecosystem filled with creatures and habitats of their own design.

Inspired by Mi Casita School’s approach to the arts, Maker Espacio offers a loving space to create, collaborate, and have fun en español. They learn Spanish through mindful immersion, where teachers honor and build upon the Spanish each amigue brings, supporting natural and confident language growth.

LABS
